Right-angled trapezium with parallel sides (4x − 5) cm and (3x + 2) cm, perpendicular height (x + 1) cm, Area = 45·2 cm²

Diagram not drawn to scale

(a) Show that \(7x^2 + 4x - 93{\cdot}4 = 0\). [3]
(b) Use the quadratic formula to solve \(7x^2 + 4x - 93{\cdot}4 = 0\).
Give both of your answers correct to 2 decimal places. [3]
(c) Find each of the lengths of the parallel sides of the trapezium.
You must justify any decisions that you make. [3]
