25 Here is a sketch of the graph of \(\quad y = \cos x \quad\) for values of \(x\) from \(0^\circ\) to \(360^\circ\)

Sketch of y = cos x from 0° to 360°. The curve starts at 1, crosses the x-axis at 90°, reaches −1 at 180°, crosses again at 270° and returns to 1 at 360°
(a) \(\cos x = \cos 60^\circ\)

Work out the value of \(x\) when \(\;90^\circ \leqslant x \leqslant 360^\circ\) [1 mark]

(b) \(\cos x = -\cos 60^\circ\)

Work out the value of \(x\) when \(\;180^\circ \leqslant x \leqslant 360^\circ\) [1 mark]
