Timings are a guide: classes move at the pace that suits them. Skills marked Extension are covered in detail later in the course if a class does not reach them; Recap skills have been met before and act as retrieval practice. Years 10 and 11 sit the Pearson Edexcel International GCSE in Mathematics A; the top Year 11 set also study AQA Level 2 Further Maths. Sixth form follows the Pearson Edexcel A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics textbooks.
