3. Some girls were dancing in a circle. Antonia was the fifth to the left from Bianca and the eighth to the right from Bianca. How many girls were in the group?

Answer: D 13
Antonia is fifth to the left of Bianca, so there are four girls in between. Similarly there are seven between them to the right. Hence there are 4 + 7 + 1 + 1 = 13 girls.
