| Scheme | Marks |
|---|---|
| Eg \(\dfrac{175}{7} \times 9\) | M1 |
| 225 | A1 |
| (2) |
Notes
M1: For a complete method
| Scheme | Marks |
|---|---|
| \(\dfrac{400}{27 + 14 + 9} \times 27\) oe or \(\dfrac{400}{27 + 14 + 9}\) or \(\dfrac{400}{50}\) or 8 | M1 |
| 216 | A1 |
| (2) |
| Scheme | Marks |
|---|---|
(9 : 7 =) 27 : 21 or \(9 : \dfrac{14}{3}\) Or Flaky: (flour \(x\)), fat \(\dfrac{7}{9}x\) and Sweet: (flour \(x\)), fat \(\dfrac{14}{27}x\) where \(x\) may also be any positive value | M1 |
| 3 : 2 oe | A1 |
| (2) |
Notes
M1: For \(\dfrac{7}{9}x\) and \(\dfrac{14}{27}x\) where \(x\) may also be any positive value
Eg \(\dfrac{7}{9}\) and \(\dfrac{14}{27}\)
Eg \(\dfrac{7}{9} \times 270\) and \(\dfrac{14}{27} \times 270\) (\(x = 270\)) or
For \(\dfrac{14}{27} \times \dfrac{9}{7}\) oe
A1: Eg \(\dfrac{7}{9} : \dfrac{14}{27}\) or 21 : 14 or 189 : 126 or \(1 : \dfrac{2}{3}\) or 1.5 : 1
