|---|---|
| e.g. 36 × 50 (= 1800) | M1 |
e.g. \(36 \times \dfrac{1}{2} \times 60\) (= 1080) or \(36 \times \dfrac{1}{3} \times 40\) (= 480) or \(36 \times \left(1 - \dfrac{1}{2} - \dfrac{1}{3}\right) \times 25\) (= 150) | M1 |
| e.g. \(36 \times \dfrac{1}{2} \times 60 + 36 \times \dfrac{1}{3} \times 40 + 36 \times \left(1 - \dfrac{1}{2} - \dfrac{1}{3}\right) \times 25\) (= 1710) | M1 |
| e.g. \(\dfrac{\text{“}1800\text{”} - \text{“}1710\text{”}}{\text{“}1800\text{”}} \times 100\) or \(\dfrac{[\text{outgoings}] - [\text{income}]}{[\text{outgoings}]} \times 100\) | M1 |
